Heavy-Duty Rafter Hanger for 50-lb Loads
This CRAWFORD Super Hook rafter hanger is built to hold heavy tools and equipment from overhead rafters. A padded, powder-coated finish protects surfaces from marring during use. The design does not require screws for installation. It suits garages, workshops and storage areas needing strong overhead organisation.
Sustained Load Behaviour
The powder-coated steel construction maintains its rated 50-lb capacity under continuous static loading without permanent deformation. The protective padding distributes pressure evenly across the contact surface to prevent coating wear over time. No mechanical fasteners are used, so holding power relies solely on the hook geometry engaging the rafter.
Pre-Installation Checks
Verify that the rafter or beam profile matches the hook opening dimensions before ordering. Confirm the mounting location can support the intended 50-lb load without movement. Ensure the white powder-coated finish is compatible with the surrounding environment and aesthetic requirements.

Questions about this item
Does the powder-coated finish on the 7.5" hanger resist heat buildup in a sunny garage?
The white powder coating protects the steel from corrosion and marring, but it does not insulate the hook from ambient temperature changes.
What mounting hardware must I already own to hang this 50-lb capacity hook from a rafter?
The hook hangs directly over a beam or rafter without screws, so no additional fasteners are required for installation.
Will the 4" wide opening fit over the same rough-sawn joists my older CRAWFORD hooks use?
Yes, the 4" width is designed to slip over standard dimensional lumber and rough-sawn joists alike.
