CRC 6-Oz Smoke Check Smoke D Alarm System

Functional Smoke Detector Testing

This aerosol spray simulates real smoke to verify that residential and commercial detectors actually respond to fire particles. It also reveals obstructions or debris inside the sensing chamber that could prevent proper operation. The six-ounce can lets maintenance staff test units while standing safely on the floor.

Integration With Safety Routines

The spray requires no tools or ladders, so it fits into routine inspections without disrupting building occupants. It frees technicians from climbing to ceiling height and eliminates the need for live flame or heat sources during functional checks. Regular use increases the likelihood that detectors stay compliant with testing schedules.

Sustained Use Reliability

The propellant delivers consistent particle density across multiple activations, so each test mirrors the conditions of an actual fire event. Performance does not degrade as the can empties, ensuring the last detector checked receives the same stimulus as the first. The formula leaves no residue that could alter future detector sensitivity.
