Creative Labs 51EF0960AA000 HS-720 V2 USB headset

Clear calls with noise cancelling mic

The Creative HS-720 V2 is a USB headset built for professionals who spend hours on video conferences. A condenser microphone with noise cancellation filters background sound so colleagues hear speech clearly. The supra-aural design rests on the ears and weighs only 135 g, keeping pressure low during long meetings. Plug-and-play USB-A connectivity works instantly on Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and macOS 10.9 or later.

Inline controls keep hands on the keyboard

A built-in microphone button on the headset remote lets users mute or answer calls without reaching for the screen. Volume adjustment sits on the same inline module, so levels can be changed mid-call without software menus. The 2 m cable gives enough slack to stand, stretch or reach for documents while staying connected. Driver units with 30 mm neodymium magnets deliver a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response for balanced voice and media playback.

Upgrades basic earbuds or mono headsets

This model replaces single-ear or earbud solutions that lack noise cancellation and inline call controls. The jump is worth it when daily stand-ups, client demos or all-day sprints demand clear two-way audio and quick mute access. Buyers who need wireless freedom or active noise cancellation for the earcups should look elsewhere, as this headset is wired and isolates only the microphone signal.
