Premium 2.0 USB-C speakers for desktop audio

The Creative Labs Pebble Nova is a wired 2.0 speaker system with Bluetooth 5.3 that connects via USB-C audio, 3.5 mm AUX or a 65 W PD power adapter. Each orb houses a coaxial 3 inch driver and 1 inch tweeter plus a passive radiator. The pair delivers 25 W RMS per speaker and 100 W peak total power. Customisable RGB lighting and detachable stands complete the minimalist black design.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The speakers are powered by an external 65 W PD adapter, so no internal fan or active cooling is required. Operation is silent apart from audio output. The signal-to-noise ratio is rated at 93 dB or higher, ensuring a clean noise floor during quiet passages. Power consumption scales with volume level and the supplied adapter handles peak demands.

Coaxial driver layout decides stereo imaging

A 3 inch mid-bass driver and 1 inch tweeter are aligned coaxially in each speaker with a dedicated passive radiator. This arrangement produces coherent wavefronts and a frequency response of 55 Hz to 20 kHz from a compact 149.2 x 150.8 x 153 mm enclosure. Buyers who need a separate subwoofer output, multi-channel surround or a dedicated headphone jack will not find those connections here.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 65W PD power adapter and USB-C cable to power the Pebble Nova speakers?

Plug the 65W PD power adapter into a wall outlet, then connect the supplied 1.5m USB-C to USB-C cable from the adapter to the right speaker's USB-C port; the left speaker links to the right via the second USB-C cable.

What cleaning or part replacement will the coaxial drivers and passive radiators need over time?

The 3" drivers, 1" tweeters and passive radiators are sealed units with no user-serviceable parts; only occasional dusting of the grille and orb surface is required.

At what volume level does the 25W RMS per speaker limit appear during extended playback?

Sustained output at or near the 25W RMS per channel rating will trigger the built-in protection limiter, reducing volume to prevent thermal overload.
