Target age and purpose

Crest Kid's Cavity Protection Toothpaste Sparkle Fun is formulated for children and toddlers aged two and older. The Sparkle Fun flavour and visible sparkles aim to make daily brushing more appealing so the habit forms early. Each tube contains 4.6 ounces of anticavity toothpaste with 0.15 % w/v fluoride ion from clinically proven Fluoristat. The pack supplies three tubes for household convenience.

Daily routine fit

The sugar-free formula is gentle on enamel and accepted by the ADA for cavity prevention when used as directed. A pea-sized amount on a soft brush fits the standard morning and evening routine without extra steps. The 7.09 by 1.5 by 5.75 inch carton stores easily in a bathroom cabinet or drawer. At 0.86 lb the pack is light enough for a child to handle with supervision.

Sustained use profile

Regular twice-daily use maintains fluoride exposure that helps reduce decay risk over months and years. The mild abrasive system cleans effectively while preserving enamel thickness through repeated brushing cycles. Sparkle particles remain suspended in the paste so the visual cue stays consistent tube after tube. The flavour profile is designed to stay palatable so resistance does not build with long-term use.

Questions about this item

How long does a 4.6 oz tube last with twice-daily brushing for a child?

A 4.6 oz tube typically provides several weeks of use when a pea-sized amount is used twice daily, so the three-pack covers multiple months for one child.

Does the Sparkle Fun formula create excessive foam or strong aftertaste that might bother sensitive children?

The sodium lauryl sulfate creates moderate foaming while the Sparkle Fun flavor is designed to be mild and appealing, avoiding harsh mint sensations that can irritate young mouths.

What brushing routine and supervision are needed for a toddler to use this fluoride toothpaste safely?

Children aged 2+ should use a pea-sized amount under adult supervision to minimise swallowing, brushing twice daily as directed for effective cavity protection with the 0.15% fluoride ion concentration.
