The Crestron DM-TX-4KZ-202-C is a dual-mode transmitter designed for professional AV installations requiring 4096x2160 DCI 4K distribution. It accepts HDMI input with HDR10 deep colour at 4K60 4:4:4 and converts the signal for transmission over DM 8G+ or HDBaseT infrastructure. Integrators use it to extend high-resolution video, audio, Ethernet and control signals over a single shielded RJ-45 cable.

Distance limits over twisted pair

The DM 8G+ and HDBaseT outputs carry 4K60 4:4:4 video up to the standard reach of the chosen cable category. Ethernet passes through at 10/100 Mbps auto-switching for device control or network access. HDCP 2.2, EDID, CEC and RS-232 tunnels are maintained end-to-end. Power is supplied via a 24 Volt DC connector or PoDM/PoE+ from a compatible receiver or switch.
