Universal three-connector card reader
The Critin USB 2.0 card reader combines USB Type-A, Micro USB and USB-C connectors in one compact unit. It accepts SD, SDHC, SDXC, Micro SD, Micro SDHC, Micro SDXC, MMC and RS-MMC cards including UHS-I variants. The device is aimed at photographers, drone operators and mobile users who need to move files between cameras, Android devices and computers without carrying multiple adapters.
Check host port and OTG support
Before ordering, verify that your smartphone or tablet supports USB On-The-Go functionality, as the Micro USB and USB-C ports require OTG to read cards. Ensure the host device provides a standard USB-A, Micro USB or USB-C port that matches one of the reader’s three connectors. No driver installation is needed for Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, macOS 10.4.6 or later, Android or Linux.
Passive thermals and bus power
The reader draws power directly from the host port and has no fan or active cooling, so it runs silently during transfers. Its small 1.7 by 9.1 by 14.8 centimetre enclosure and 0.03 kilogramme weight add negligible bulk. Because it operates over USB 2.0, power draw stays within standard bus limits and the housing remains cool to the touch under normal file-copy workloads.

Questions about this item
Does the box contain any cables or just the reader itself?
The package includes the 3-in-1 reader with integrated USB-A, Micro USB and USB-C connectors; no separate cables or power adapters are supplied.
Which connector should I use with a USB-C Android phone that supports OTG?
Plug the built-in USB-C port directly into the phone; the Micro USB and USB-A connectors are for older Android devices and standard computer ports respectively.
What transfer speed can I expect when reading a UHS-I microSD card through the USB 2.0 interface?
The USB 2.0 link caps real-world throughput well below the card's UHS-I potential, so large video files will copy at USB 2.0 bulk-endpoint rates rather than the card's maximum.
