Suitable applications

The CSB Battery GP12340 is a 12V 34Ah sealed lead-acid unit built for home alarm panels, backup power supplies and similar standby duties. It delivers the rated 34 ampere-hours at 12 volts for reliable long-duration support.

Terminal fit and mounting

The NB terminal style determines which connector fits; verify the terminal type before ordering to avoid mismatched leads. No special tools are required, but incorrect polarity or loose connections will prevent proper operation.

Sealed lead-acid limits

Sealed lead-acid chemistry self-discharges during storage and loses capacity if left deeply discharged for extended periods. The 34Ah rating assumes a standard discharge rate; higher loads will reduce usable runtime.

Cycle life declines with repeated deep discharges

Sealed lead-acid chemistry self-discharges during storage and loses capacity if left deeply discharged for extended periods. The 34Ah rating assumes a standard discharge rate; higher loads will reduce usable runtime. Cycle life declines with repeated deep discharges, so the battery suits occasional backup rather than daily cycling.
