6V 12Ah backup battery

The CSB GP6120 is a 6 volt 12 ampere-hour sealed lead-acid unit intended for standby and cyclic applications. It suits alarm panels, emergency lighting, UPS modules and similar equipment that requires a compact 6V power source. The pack format delivers a single battery ready for immediate installation.

F1 terminal installation

The battery uses F1 faston terminals that push onto matching spade connectors without tools. Polarity must be observed; reversed connection can damage the powered device. Ensure the terminal tabs are clean and fully seated to avoid intermittent contact or excessive resistance.

Sealed lead-acid limits

Sealed lead-acid chemistry self-discharges during storage so periodic recharge is needed to maintain capacity. The 12Ah rating is specified at a 20-hour discharge rate; higher loads reduce usable energy. Operation outside the manufacturer's stated temperature range shortens service life.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 6V 12Ah battery is working correctly after installation?

Measure the voltage with a multimeter; a healthy unit reads around 6V under no load and holds steady when the device draws current.

What comes in the pack and what must I source separately?

The pack contains the GP6120 battery only; cables, connectors or a charger are not included and must be purchased separately.

Which capacity should I choose for my 6V application?

The GP6120 is a single 12Ah model; select it when your equipment specifies a 6V 12Ah F1 terminal battery.
