Cudy M1300 Mesh System

The Cudy M1300 is a three-pack mesh Wi-Fi system built on Wi-Fi 5 technology. Each node delivers AC1200 dual-band performance with two Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections. The set is designed to replace a single router and extend coverage throughout a home using mesh backhaul.

Suits homes wanting whole-home mesh

Buyers needing more than two Gigabit ports per node, a dedicated third radio for backhaul, or a different Wi-Fi standard should consider other options. The system supports MU-MIMO and beamforming for multi-device households and includes parental controls with scheduling and website blocking managed through the Cudy App with cloud remote access.

AC1200 dual-band speed rating

The combined wireless rate is 1200 Mbps, split as 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz. Each Gigabit port handles up to 1000 Mbps for low-latency wired devices. Multi-band simultaneous backhaul allows the nodes to maintain mesh links while serving clients on both bands.

Questions about this item

Do I need an existing modem or gateway to connect the three M1300 units to my internet service?

Yes, one M1300 unit must be wired to your ISP modem or gateway via its Gigabit Ethernet port to provide internet access to the whole mesh system.

Will my older laptop that only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 5 connect reliably to the mesh?

The 2.4 GHz band delivers up to 300 Mbps and supports legacy clients, so your laptop will associate and roam across all three nodes without configuration changes.

How can I confirm the mesh backhaul is actively linking the three units after setup?

Open the Cudy App; the topology view shows each node's connection status, signal strength, and whether the 5 GHz backhaul is carrying traffic between units.
