Cuisinart 2-Slice XL Slot Toaster

The Cuisinart CPT-1200BK is a 1500 W toaster with extra-long slots designed for artisan breads, bagels and thick-cut slices. It suits households that want versatile browning across different bread shapes and sizes. One-slice technology ensures even colour when toasting a single piece. The purple finish adds a coordinated accent to compact kitchens.

Check slot fit and counter space

Measure the 12 inch depth and 8 inch width against your available countertop area before ordering. Verify that your usual loaf heights clear the 7.25 inch body height when the high-lift carriage is raised. Ensure a standard mains outlet can deliver the rated 1500 W without sharing a circuit with other high-draw appliances. The front removable crumb tray needs a few centimetres of front clearance for easy removal.

Steady heat across repeated cycles

The 1500 W element maintains consistent temperature during back-to-back batches without the drop-off seen in lower-powered models. Extra-long slots distribute heat evenly across long slices so crusts brown uniformly from end to end. The +30 second boost adds precise extra time without restarting a full cycle. One-slice mode balances power to a single slot for repeatable results.
