Commuter range and speed

The RS500 delivers up to 35 miles of range from its 624Wh battery and reaches 25 mph via a 1000W peak motor. A 48V 13Ah pack charges in 6 to 8 hours using the included UL 2272 certified charger. Maximum payload is 220 lbs, making it suitable for adults and teens.

Thermals and power in daily use

The IP56 rating protects the motor and electronics from dust and strong water jets during wet commutes. Solid 9.5-inch wide tubeless tires eliminate puncture risk and run without air-pressure maintenance. Dual disc brakes combined with EABS provide consistent stopping power without hydraulic fluid to overheat.

Build fit and practicality

Folding frame reduces the 46.5 x 22.8 x 52.7in footprint for storage or transit. C-type air suspension and 84mm wide wheels absorb urban surfaces without adjustable preload. Fingerprint unlock, turn signals, cruise control and app connectivity integrate security and convenience without extra accessories.

Questions about this item

How do I install the folding mechanism on the RS500 and which step is most often missed?

Unfold the stem until the latch clicks into the locked position, then verify the safety pin is fully seated; riders often forget the pin and assume the click alone secures the stem.

What maintenance will the 9.5-inch wide pneumatic tubeless tires and C-type air suspension need later?

Check tyre pressure monthly and inspect the air-suspension chambers for leaks; solid rubber core means no tube replacements, but pressure loss affects ride quality and handling.

At what point does the 48 V 13 Ah battery hit its limit during sustained 25 mph riding?

Expect the 35-mile maximum range to drop toward the 25-mile floor when holding top speed continuously, especially on 15 % grades that draw peak motor current.
