Stranded adventure game for Steam

Stranded is a downloadable indie adventure from Curve Digital that activates on Steam with an online game code. The game places you on an uncharted planet after your ship crashes among platinum-iridium shards. It is sold new as a digital download for PC, Mac and Linux systems.

Low-spec upgrade from older titles

The minimum requirements call for a dual-core 2 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, DirectX 8.0 on Windows and only 150 MB of storage. The jump is worth it if your current library will not run on Windows XP or OSX 10.6 and you need a lightweight title that installs quickly.

Simple Steam activation and install

Redeem the code in the Steam client, then download the 150 MB package. The process fails if your account region is on the blocked list, which includes several countries. No additional DRM steps or third-party launchers are required beyond Steam.
