System purpose

This custom gaming desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card and 32GB of DDR5 memory. It is built for players who want high frame rates at 1440p or 4K resolution in current titles. The 2TB NVME drive holds a large library without frequent uninstall decisions. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and ready to use.

Upgrade context

The configuration replaces an older rig that struggles with modern ray-traced effects or CPU-bound simulation workloads. Builders moving from a previous-generation eight-core chip or a mid-range GPU will notice the jump most in minimum frame-rate stability. The 850W Gold power supply and B650 ATX motherboard provide headroom for the included parts, but the platform does not support a second graphics card.

Sustained behaviour

A 360mm AIO liquid cooler with an LCD screen manages the Ryzen 7 7800X3D thermals during extended sessions, keeping clock speeds consistent rather than throttling after a few minutes. The XPG BATTLECRUISERIIPST-BKCWW case airflow works with the radiator to exhaust heat from the RTX 4080 under continuous load. Acoustic output remains steady once the coolant reaches equilibrium.
