Processor and graphics

This gaming desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card. The 16-core CPU handles multi-threaded workloads and high-refresh gaming. The GPU delivers modern 1080p and 1440p performance. The system ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed.

Memory and storage headroom

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory in a dual-channel kit covers current games and general multitasking. Heavy content creation or memory-intensive titles may benefit from an upgrade. The 1 TB M.2 SSD provides fast boot and load times. Large media libraries or extensive game collections will require additional drives.

Front-panel connectivity and cooling

A 240 mm AIO RGB cooler manages CPU temperatures under sustained loads. The XPG BATTLECRUISER case includes USB-C and USB 3.0 front ports, though the motherboard offers a single USB 3.0 header. The USB 3.0 ports are connected by default; the USB-C port can be activated instead on request.

Questions about this item

Will the 550 motherboard support my existing DDR4 memory if I want to add more later?

The board runs DDR4, so any standard DDR4 DIMMs you already own will be compatible with the two free slots.

How can I confirm the 240mm AIO cooler is keeping the 5950X at safe temperatures once the system is running?

Open the RGB lighting software or any hardware monitor and watch the CPU package temperature stay well below its thermal limit under load.

Which front-panel ports are active on the BATTLECRUISER case and do I need a separate cable for the USB-C port?

The USB 3.0 front ports are connected; the USB-C port is inactive unless you move the internal header cable to the second USB 3.0 header.
