Ultra 9 285K desktop for high-end gaming

This system ships with an Intel Ultra 9 285K processor, 32 GB of DDR5 memory and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16 GB of video memory. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on a 4 TB NVME solid-state drive. It is aimed at enthusiasts who want a fully assembled machine ready for demanding titles and content creation workloads.

EK 360 mm AIO cooling in a Lian Li PC-O11DX case

The CPU is cooled by an EK Nucleus AIO CR360 Lux D-RGB 360 mm liquid cooler mounted inside a Lian Li PC-O11DX chassis. A Z890 ATX motherboard and an 850 W Gold-rated power supply provide the platform foundation. The case layout supports the 360 mm radiator and offers standard ATX mounting points for straightforward future upgrades.

PCIe 4.0 storage ceiling

The WD SN850X 4 TB drive operates over a PCIe 4.0 interface, so sequential speeds will not exceed that generation's limits. The 850 W Gold power supply defines the total system power budget, which accommodates the RTX 5080 and the Ultra 9 285K but leaves limited headroom for additional high-wattage expansion cards. Buyers who want more storage or a second graphics card should verify capacity before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the Z890 motherboard run the SSD at PCIe 4.0 or 5.0 speeds?

The WD SN850X 4TB drive is a PCIe 4.0 NVME device, so the Z890 board will operate it at 4.0 speeds.

Will the EK 360 mm AIO fit inside the Lian Li PC-O11DX case?

The PC-O11DX supports a 360 mm radiator in the top or side chamber, matching the EK Nucleus CR360 cooler dimensions.

How is the EK AIO oriented during the build, and what step is often missed?

Technicians mount the radiator with tubes at the bottom to prevent air bubbles, then connect the pump header and RGB cables before the final boot.
