Display Capacity

This black wood collage frame holds 12 current-era comic books published after 1985. Each opening fits the standard 7.25 by 10.5 inch size. The acid-free white mat and nesting foam keep every issue secure and properly aligned. Overall dimensions measure 29 by 50.5 inches.

Upgrade Path

It replaces individual frames or loose storage that leave comics exposed to light and handling damage. The jump is worth it when you want a single, unified presentation for a complete run or themed set. UV acrylic and acid-free materials provide conservation-grade protection that basic sleeves or magnetic holders cannot match.

Build Integration

The frame arrives with wall-hanging hardware and an easel stand for shelf or desk placement. A 0.75 inch moulding width adds minimal depth against the wall. Foam backing and nesting foam fill the interior volume, so no extra spacers or adhesives are required. Not suited for oversized Golden Age or magazine-format issues.

Questions about this item

What wall space does the 29 by 50.5 inch frame need?

The overall frame measures 29 inches wide by 50.5 inches tall, so allow at least that much clear wall area plus room for the hanging hardware to sit flush.

How do I secure the comics with the nesting foam, and what step is often missed?

Place each comic on the acid-free mat, then press the supplied nesting foam over them so it grips the covers evenly; the step people skip is checking that every book sits flat before closing the back.

Will the UV acrylic need replacing, and how do I clean it safely?

The UV acrylic is built into the frame and not designed to be swapped; clean it only with a soft cloth and a cleaner made for acrylic to avoid scratching the protective surface.
