Black pine frame with UV acrylic

This black picture frame is crafted from pine wood and measures 15 by 21 inches overall. It includes a white acid-free mat with a 12.5 by 18.5 inch opening designed for a 13 by 19 inch image. A UV-resistant, shatter-guard acrylic face replaces standard glass, and acid-free foam backing with metal hanging hardware is supplied.

Suits gallery walls and single prints

The .75 inch mat border gives photographs, posters or artwork a clean white edge that works in modern, farmhouse or boho settings. Multiple frames in black, white, silver or natural finishes can be combined into a grid. Buyers needing a deeper profile for canvas stretchers or a frame without a mat should look elsewhere.

Fits 13 by 19 inch images with .75 inch border

The mat window measures 12.5 by 18.5 inches, leaving an even .75 inch border around a 13 by 19 inch print. Acid-free materials protect the artwork from yellowing, while the UV acrylic reduces fading from light exposure. Larger prints or non-standard sizes will not fit this mat opening.

Questions about this item

Do I need to supply my own 13x19 print or 15x21 poster to fill the frame?

Yes, the frame is sold empty. It accepts a 13x19 picture behind the mat or a 15x21 poster without the mat.

Can I hang this frame next to older wooden frames without a style clash?

The black pine finish and modern square profile sit cleanly alongside vintage or rustic wood frames in a gallery wall.

How do I confirm the UV acrylic is protecting my artwork after installation?

The acrylic is clear and shatter-resistant; over time your print should show no fading compared to unprotected pieces.
