Frame built for five modern comics

This black wood frame holds five current-era comic books measuring 7.25" x 10.5" in a single horizontal collage. The overall size is 44" x 14" with a 0.75" moulding width. Acid-free black matting and nesting foam keep each issue secure and centred. UV acrylic, foam backing and hanging hardware are included. Made in the USA.

Collectors who want a ready-to-hang display

Ideal for anyone who owns post-1985 comics and wants them protected behind UV acrylic without building a custom shadow box. The fixed five-slot layout will not suit buyers who need to show a different number of books or who collect larger formats such as Golden Age or magazine-sized issues. No easel stand is mentioned for tabletop use.

Wood and acrylic hold shape on the wall

The solid wood moulding and rigid UV acrylic front resist bowing across the 44-inch span when mounted with the supplied hardware. Nesting foam prevents the comics from shifting during seasonal humidity changes. Acid-free materials protect paper from yellowing over long display periods.

Questions about this item

Do I need to already have current-era comics measuring 7.25" x 10.5" for this frame to work?

Yes, the frame is sized for five current-era comics published after 1985 that measure exactly 7.25" x 10.5".

Will my older Silver Age comics fit alongside the current-era slots in this collage?

No, the acid-free mat and nesting foam are cut for 7.25" x 10.5" books only; smaller Silver Age issues will not be held securely.

How can I confirm the UV acrylic is protecting the comics after I hang the 44" x 14" frame?

The UV acrylic ships installed on the front; once mounted you can verify the comics are flat behind the clear glazing with no glare or bowing.
