Black Wood Collage Frame

This black wood frame displays six Golden Age comic books published between 1938 and 1956. It holds books measuring 7.25" x 10.5" behind a white acid-free mat. The collage layout suits collectors who want a single wall piece for multiple issues. Buyers needing frames for larger Silver Age or modern comics cannot use this size.

UV Acrylic Protection

The frame includes UV resistant acrylic glazing to shield paper and ink from light damage. Acid-free matting and nesting foam hold each comic securely without direct adhesive contact. Foam board backing and hanging hardware are supplied for immediate mounting. No lighting or climate-control specifications are provided for the materials.

Fixed 51x14 Layout

Overall dimensions are 51" x 14" with a .75" wide moulding profile. The horizontal arrangement is permanent and cannot be reconfigured for vertical spaces or different quantities. The unit ships fully assembled and made in the USA. Renters or owners with narrow wall segments should verify the 51-inch span before purchase.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 51" x 14" black wood frame to the wall, and what step do people often miss?

Use the included wall hanging hardware and check that the 0.75" moulding sits flush; the step often missed is verifying the frame is level before tightening the screws.

Will the UV acrylic or acid-free white mat need replacement to keep my Golden Age comics protected?

The UV acrylic and acid-free mat are designed for long-term display; they do not require scheduled replacement under normal indoor conditions.

At what point does the nesting foam stop holding the 7.25" x 10.5" comics securely if the frame is moved often?

The foam maintains its grip through regular handling; only repeated removal and reinsertion of the comics will gradually compress the foam and reduce snugness.
