Frame Specifications

This solid-wood frame measures 21.5" x 27" overall and features a 0.75" wide black moulding. It holds four Current Era comic books sized 6.875" x 10.5" in a 2x2 grid behind UV-resistant acrylic. Acid-free white matting and nesting foam secure each book without damage.

Upgrade From Storage

Replaces long boxes, plastic sleeves or loose stacking that hide artwork and risk creasing or fading. The jump is worth it when you want daily visual access to key issues published after 1985 while preserving condition with archival materials.

Display Capacity && Limits

Comfortably presents four standard modern comics side by side with uniform spacing and protected surfaces. Runs out when a collection exceeds four books, requires landscape orientation, or needs sealed climate control beyond the included foam board backing.

Questions about this item

What wall space does the 21.5 by 27 inch frame need?

The overall frame measures 21.5 inches wide by 27 inches high, so allow at least that much clear wall area plus a little clearance for the hanging hardware.

How do I secure the comics inside the white mat openings?

Place each 6.875 by 10.5 inch comic into its opening, then press the included nesting foam behind the foam board backing to hold everything snugly before closing the frame.

When should I replace the UV acrylic front?

The UV resistant acrylic is designed to last for many years; replace it only if it becomes scratched, yellowed, or cracked from impact.
