Three Silver Age Slots

This black wood frame holds three Silver Age comics measuring 7.125"x10.5" published between 1956 and 1970. The overall dimensions are 30.25"x15.5" with a .75" moulding width. An acid-free black mat and nesting foam secure each book horizontally. It is designed for collectors who want to display a trio of vintage issues on a wall.

UV Acrylic Protection

The UV resistant acrylic front shields paper and ink from fading during long-term exposure to light. Foam board backing adds rigidity and keeps the comics flat inside the frame. These materials work together to preserve condition over years of display rather than just a few months. The frame ships new with all protective layers in place.

Handcrafted US Build

Each unit is handcrafted in the USA from solid wood with a black finish. Included hardware provides both an easel stand for shelf display and wall hanging fixtures for mounting. The nesting foam fits snugly around each comic to prevent shifting. Buyers who need more than three openings or a different comic size will need a different frame.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 0.75" wide wood moulding generate when the frame hangs in direct sunlight all day?

The solid wood moulding and UV resistant acrylic do not produce heat; they simply shield the comics from UV rays while the frame remains at room temperature.

What mounting hardware must I already have to hang the 28.75" x 14" frame securely on a wall?

The frame includes wall hanging hardware; you only need a hammer, a level and appropriate wall anchors or screws for your wall type.

Will the 7.125" x 10.5" Silver Age comic openings fit Golden Age books that are slightly larger?

The acid-free black mat and nesting foam are cut precisely for 7.125" x 10.5" Silver Age dimensions, so larger Golden Age comics will not fit properly.
