Silver Comic Book Frame for Current Era Issues

This solid wood frame with a silver finish holds three comic books published after 1985 that measure 6.875 by 10.5 inches. The moulding width is 0.75 inches and the overall frame size is 28.75 by 14 inches. Acid-free black matting and nesting foam keep each book secure and protected. UV-resistant acrylic and foam board backing are included.

Collectors Who Want a Ready-to-Hang Display

The frame ships with an easel stand and wall-hanging hardware so it can be shown on a shelf or mounted immediately. It suits owners of modern-format comics who want archival-safe materials and a modern silver aesthetic. Buyers with Silver Age or Golden Age books will find the openings too small for those larger dimensions. Anyone needing space for more than three issues should consider a multi-frame arrangement.

Fits Three 6.875-by-10.5-Inch Comics Horizontally

The three openings are sized exactly for current-era comic books measuring 6.875 by 10.5 inches. Verify your books match those dimensions before ordering because the cut mat and nesting foam are cut to that specification. Comics that are wider, taller, or thicker will not fit properly in this frame.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.75" wide moulding cover any artwork on my 6.875" x 10.5" comics?

The moulding overlaps each opening by a standard margin; the visible window will be slightly smaller than 6.875" x 10.5", so keep key art inside that safe area.

How can I verify the UV acrylic is protecting my comics after hanging?

The acrylic is UV resistant by design; you can confirm it is fitted by checking the clear front sits flush in the rabbet and the foam backing holds each comic snugly.

Does the package include the easel stand and wall hardware, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains the silver wood frame, black acid-free mat, UV acrylic front, foam board backing, nesting foam, easel stand and wall hanging hardware — nothing else is required.
