Silver Comic Book Frame — 4 Openings

This solid-wood frame displays four Silver Age comics measuring 7.125" x 10.5" in a 2x2 grid. It is finished in silver with an acid-free black mat and UV-resistant acrylic to protect the covers. The overall size is 21.5" x 27" and the moulding width is .75". Handcrafted in the USA, it includes nesting foam, foam board backing, an easel stand and wall hardware. Comics are not included.

Passive wall display — no power, noise or heat

The frame hangs on the wall or sits on a shelf using the supplied easel stand. It draws no electricity, produces no fan noise and generates no heat. The UV-resistant acrylic reduces fading from ambient light without any active components. No power supply, cables or moving parts are required for normal use.

Nesting foam and hardware simplify installation

Pre-cut nesting foam holds each comic snugly in its opening so pages stay flat and centred. Foam board backing adds rigidity and keeps the books from shifting over time. The included easel stand lets you display the frame on a desk or shelf, while the wall hardware supports vertical hanging. Acid-free black matting prevents contact between the comic and the frame materials.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 21.5" x 27" silver wood frame securely on the wall?

Use the included wall hanging hardware; locate studs or use proper anchors for the frame weight, ensure the moulding sits flush, and double-check the 2x2 grid alignment before tightening.

Will the UV resistant acrylic or black acid-free mat need replacing over time?

The UV resistant acrylic and acid-free black mat are designed for long-term display; the acrylic resists yellowing and the mat prevents comic damage, so replacement is not expected under normal conditions.

At what point does the 0.75" wide moulding limit how many comics I can display in this frame?

The frame is built for exactly four Silver Age comics at 7.125" x 10.5" each in a fixed 2x2 grid; the moulding width and overall 21.5" x 27" size set a hard capacity limit.
