What this cartridge does

The CyberPower RB1270X2C is a pre-assembled replacement battery cartridge that restores runtime to compatible CyberPower UPS units when their original cells have weakened or failed. It contains two 12V 7Ah sealed lead-acid batteries in a maintenance-free design that never requires fluid replacement. The cartridge is built for IT staff or home-office users who need to bring a UPS back to full backup capability without scheduling a service visit.

How it fits into a UPS

The cartridge slides into the battery compartment of the CST135XLU, CP900AVR or CP1200AVR models and connects with the existing wiring harness, so no extra cables or tools are required. Because the module is user-installable, the UPS can stay in its rack or on its shelf while the swap is performed. The reusable packaging doubles as a return container for the spent batteries, simplifying compliance with local recycling regulations.
