18MP Professional Document Scanner

The Czur ET18 Pro digitises books and flat documents up to A3 size using an 18MP camera and patented auto-flattening technology. It connects via USB and runs on Windows or macOS, producing searchable PDF, Word, Excel or TIFF files through ABBYY OCR in 186 languages.

Plug-and-play USB setup with curved-page correction

Simply connect the scanner by USB, install the software and place the item under the 2.0-inch preview screen. The second-generation auto-flatten and deskew algorithms correct 3D book curvature automatically. Very glossy paper may still cause glare; switching the head light off and using only the two side lights reduces reflections.

Captures A3 pages at 4896×3672 resolution

Each scan takes under 1.5 seconds, so a 300-page book finishes in roughly 10 minutes at 275 DPI. The 16.5 × 11.7 inch scan area handles large formats, but the OCR engine currently does not support Macs with M2 chips. Buyers needing wireless scanning or automatic document feeding for loose sheets should consider other form factors.
