Observation Horror Gameplay

Shift 87 is a first-person observation horror title developed by Pixelsplit and published by Daedalic Entertainment. Players assume the role of a shift worker tasked with memorising environments and reporting anomalies using a designated device. The game delivers a tense, atmospheric experience focused on careful observation rather than combat mechanics.

Digital Steam Distribution

The product is delivered as a downloadable PC game code requiring a Steam account for activation and installation. A 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 operating system is mandatory alongside processors such as the Intel Core i7-11370H or AMD Ryzen 7 3750H. Regional restrictions apply, blocking activation in numerous listed countries.

Procedural Anomaly Limits

Each playthrough features randomly generated anomalies across three handcrafted levels, with a total of 66 distinct anomalies to discover. A full run typically lasts around two to three hours, but incorrect reports reset the sequence and extend playtime. The procedural design ensures anomaly placement varies every session, limiting memorisation strategies.
