What it is and who it’s for

The Daewoo FC169-01200 is a mains-powered fabric shaver that removes lint, pills and fuzz from clothing and home textiles. It plugs straight into a 100-240 V outlet so there is no battery to charge or replace. The unit suits anyone who wants a quick way to refresh wool coats, cotton skirts, sweaters, sofas, curtains, bedding and similar items.

Thermals noise and power draw

A 5 W motor spins the three stainless-steel blades at up to 9000 rpm while drawing minimal power from the wall socket. The low wattage keeps the housing cool during typical sessions and the motor runs quietly enough for use in a living room or bedroom. No warm-up or cool-down period is required between garments.

The spec that decides fit

The shaver operates on AC 100-240 V only; it has no rechargeable battery and cannot run cordless. If you need a portable lint remover for travel or use away from a power outlet, this model will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Daewoo FC169-01200 and what step is often missed?

Plug the AC100-240V cord into a 120V outlet, ensure the lint container clicks into place, then press the power button; users often forget to lock the container before starting.

What maintenance or replacement will the Daewoo FC169-01200 need later?

The two extra stainless-steel blades supplied will be needed when the original three-leaf set dulls; empty the lint container after every use to maintain airflow.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the Daewoo FC169-01200?

The 5W motor runs at up to 9000rpm, so the lint container fills quickly and must be emptied before it blocks the blades.
