Topper Mat for Washer and Dryer

The Daewoo WC-01 is a protective mat sized at 23.6 inches by 19.7 inches that sits on top of a washer or dryer. It shields the appliance surface from dust, water stains and everyday knocks. The diatom mud material absorbs moisture and dries quickly. A non-slip rubber base keeps the mat and any items placed on it steady during vibration cycles.

Sustained Use and Maintenance

The mat is machine washable and designed to dry rapidly after cleaning. Its foldable construction allows it to be stored compactly when not in use. The absorbent diatom mud surface continues to handle spills and condensation over repeated cycles without degrading. The rubber backing maintains its grip through regular washing and daily appliance movement.

Surface Coverage Limits

The fixed dimensions of 60 by 50 centimetres cover the top of most standard washers, dryers and refrigerators. Appliances with larger top panels will leave exposed edges. The mat can be trimmed or repositioned for smaller furniture such as coffee tables or nightstands. It does not attach permanently, so it can be moved between locations as needed.

Questions about this item

Does the 23.6 x 19.7 inch Daewoo WC-01 mat generate any heat or noise during continuous use?

The mat is a passive diatom mud pad with no powered components, so it produces no heat or noise regardless of how long the washer or dryer runs.

What must I already own for the Daewoo WC-01 topper mat to serve its purpose?

You need a washer, dryer, refrigerator or similar appliance with a flat top surface measuring at least 23.6 by 19.7 inches so the non-slip rubber base can grip securely.

Will the 14.33 x 12.83 x 9.06 inch folded mat fit inside a narrow cabinet alongside an older stackable washer-dryer set?

When folded the mat is thin and flexible, allowing it to slide into tight gaps beside or above older stacked units without interfering with their operation.
