4×2.5G + 2×10G SFP+ Switch

The Dahua Da-K6402W is an unmanaged Ethernet switch with four 2.5G Base-T RJ45 ports and two 10G SFP+ uplink ports. It supports 100, 1000 and 2500 Mbps link speeds and delivers a 60 Gbps switching capacity. The fanless metal chassis runs silently in home or office environments.

Sustained load behaviour

The fanless design dissipates heat passively through the metal enclosure, so acoustic output stays at zero under continuous traffic. LED indicators show the active rate on each port, with the left LED signalling 2.5G and the right LED signalling 100 or 1000 Mbps. No configuration is required to maintain wire-speed forwarding across all six ports.

Practical limits of the interface

The two 10G SFP+ uplinks accept compatible transceiver modules for fibre or direct-attach copper links up to 10 Gbps. The four RJ45 ports auto-negotiate down to 100 or 1000 Mbps when connected to legacy gear, but they cannot exceed 2.5 Gbps. Builders needing more than four 2.5G copper ports or PoE power must look elsewhere.
