15" Bowie Knife with 465-Layer Damascus Blade

This hand-forged Bowie knife measures 15 inches overall with a 9.5 inch cutting edge. The blade uses 465 layers of 1095 and 15N20 high and low carbon steel folded into a rain-drop pattern. It is hardened to 56 to 58 HRC for field use. A brass finger guard and pommel secure the 5.5 inch two-tone Dollar wood handle.

Check fit and maintenance routine before ordering

The 5 mm thick blade and 15 inch length require a draw stroke suited to large knives. The included leather sheath has a belt loop but must not be used for long-term storage because leather absorbs moisture. High-carbon Damascus steel will rust without regular cleaning and a light coat of oil or wax after each use.
