The Damascus Depot folding knife features a 3.5 inch Damascus steel blade with a 3 inch cutting edge and two inserting holes. Its overall length is 7.5 inches when open. The handle uses camouflage coloured jigged Razen scales with a Damascus steel bolster. A liner lock secures the blade during use.

Heat treatment and hardness

The blade is forged from 1095 and 15N20 high and low carbon steel. It receives heat treatment to reach 56 to 58 HRC hardness. High carbon content means the steel can rust if not cared for properly. WD40 can remove accidental rust spots.

Sustained use and storage

Never store the knife long term in the leather sheath because leather absorbs moisture and promotes rust. Always clean the blade after use and apply oil or wax before storage for longer life. The included cow hide leather sheath has a belt inserting stripe for carry. The knife is very sharp so open and use it carefully.
