Compact 65% layout with magnetic switches

The Dareu COOL68 is a 65% wired gaming keyboard built around DAREU Shadow Blade magnetic Hall Effect switches. It connects via USB Type-C and includes a multi-function knob instead of a dedicated function row. The compact form factor saves desk space while retaining arrow keys and navigation clusters for mixed work and play.

8000 Hz polling and adjustable actuation

An 8000 Hz polling rate reduces input latency to 0.125 ms, supported by a D.H.A. algorithm that improves signal stability by 60%. Rapid Trigger mode lets you set the actuation point anywhere from 0.2 mm to 3.5 mm in 0.01 mm steps, eliminating dead zones for instantaneous key reset. South-facing RGB LEDs and side light bars provide 20-plus lighting effects.

Hot-swap sockets and gasket mount

Hot-swappable magnetic sockets accept any compatible magnetic switch without soldering, and three extra switches are included in the box. A gasket mount with three layers of foam dampens sound for a deep, thocky typing feel. PBT and PC transparent keycaps maximise light transmission. The keyboard measures 329 x 111 x 44 mm and weighs approximately 740 g. No palm rest is included.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 65% layout or look for a full-size version?

This model is a 65% compact keyboard with 68 keys and a control knob; it saves desk space but omits the dedicated number pad and function row found on full-size boards.

What does the 8000Hz polling rate mean when I am actually playing?

The board reports keystrokes 8000 times per second, giving a 0.125ms input latency that makes key presses register noticeably faster in fast-paced games.

How does the USB Type-C connection limit what I can do?

The wired USB Type-C link carries both power and data, so there is no battery to charge and no wireless latency, but you must stay tethered to the PC.
