Three-Pack ARGB Cooling

The darkFlash Gauss G24R kit supplies three 120 mm reverse-blade fans with 5 V ARGB lighting and a magnetic daisy-chain connector. PWM control varies speed between 800 and 2000 RPM to match thermal load. Hydro bearings rated for 40000 hours MTTF keep long-term noise low. The 3-pack suits builders who want coordinated intake or exhaust without buying single units.

Magnetic Daisy-Chain Upgrade

The patented 7-pin magnetic splice replaces traditional PWM and ARGB cables, letting each fan snap to the next for a single motherboard connection. Builders moving from separate 4-pin and 3-pin headers gain cleaner routing and fewer occupied headers. The jump is worth it when case space is tight or when a uniform lighting loop across three fans is preferred over individual strips.

5 V ARGB Header Limit

Lighting sync works only with 5 V 3-pin ARGB headers — ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion and ASRock Polychrome RGB — and must not be plugged into 12 V RGB headers. The 4-pin PWM connector handles speed automatically, but the ARGB signal cannot pass through older 4-pin RGB controllers. Users without a compatible 5 V header will need a separate controller to activate the 16.8 million colour effects.

Questions about this item

Will the 120mm by 25mm frame fit my case fan mounts?

The 120mm square frame and 25mm thickness match standard 120mm mounting holes found on most cases and radiators, so they align with typical screw patterns.

How do I daisy-chain the magnetic connectors without mis-aligning the 7-pin plugs?

Snap each fan's magnetic 7-pin connector to the next one in line, then run a single PWM/ARGB splitter cable from the last fan to the motherboard headers; the magnets self-align so pins cannot be bent.

When should I expect the hydro bearing to need replacement?

The FDB hydro bearing is rated for 40,000 hours MTTF, which translates to several years of continuous 24/7 operation before wear becomes likely.
