20-Port Fan and Lighting Hub
This hub consolidates up to 20 connections into a single magnetic unit. Ten ports accept 4-pin PWM fans for speed control while another ten handle 5V 3-pin ARGB lighting. It is built for builders who want tidy cable routing and centralised adjustment without opening the case.
Dual SATA Power Limitation
The unit draws all fan and LED current through two SATA connectors from the power supply. That interface caps total delivery well below what 20 high-speed fans could demand, so the hub is practical only for moderate-speed cooling arrays. Motherboard headers supply only the PWM signal and ARGB data, not the load current.
Ten Fans Per Channel Headroom
Each 4-pin bank comfortably drives ten PWM fans at typical case speeds, and each 3-pin ARGB bank addresses ten addressable strips or fans. Adding more devices would exceed the SATA power budget and the hub’s fixed port count. The hub does not support 12V RGB hardware, so owners of 4-pin RGB gear must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
How many fan and ARGB ports does the DARKROCK 20-Port hub provide?
The hub offers 20 ports in total: 10 four-pin PWM fan headers and 10 three-pin 5 V ARGB headers, each group controlled independently.
What does the remote control actually adjust on the 10 PWM channels?
It sets fan speed for up to 10 four-pin PWM fans, letting you tune cooling performance without using motherboard software.
Which motherboard headers and power connections does the hub require?
It needs a 12 V four-pin PWM header, a 5 V three-pin ARGB header, and two SATA power plugs from the PSU.
