Dasco Cold Chisel 1 Inch Tip

This Dasco cold chisel is a steel hand tool designed for cutting or shaping metal, stone, and similar hard materials. It features a 1 inch wide tip and an overall length of 7-7/8 inches. The tool weighs 1.1 units and is finished in black enamel. It is intended for tradespeople and DIY users who need a durable striking tool.

Suits General Metalwork Not Precision Work

This chisel suits mechanics, fabricators, and hobbyists breaking bolts, splitting nuts, or rough-shaping steel. The target head is three times larger than the stock size, which reduces mushrooming and spalling during heavy hammer blows. Users who need fine detail carving, woodworking gouges, or a comprehensive chisel set should look at other tool types.

1 Inch Tip Width Decides Fit

The single specification that determines whether this is the right part is the 1 inch tip width. This dimension controls the width of the cut or the size of the fastener head you can engage. Verify that your task requires exactly this blade breadth before purchasing.
