Extra-Long USB-A to USB-C Cable

The Dasku USB to USB-C cable measures 15 feet and carries a 3 A charging rating with a 480 Mbps data link. It connects standard USB-A ports to USB-C devices such as recent smartphones and tablets. The male-to-female connector layout and braided nylon jacket are built for daily flexing.

Capacity and Headroom

At 3 A the cable supports 5 V fast charging up to 15 W, suitable for phones and smaller tablets. The 480 Mbps bus handles music, photos and video transfers without bottleneck for typical file sizes. It does not deliver the higher wattage or multi-gigabit speeds required by power-hungry laptops or external SSDs.

USB 2.0 480 Mbps Interface

The single decisive specification is the USB 2.0 480 Mbps data rate, which defines compatibility with legacy USB-A hosts and limits maximum throughput. Buyers needing 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps transfers, or 60 W to 100 W power delivery, should choose a different cable.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-A end plug into the older USB 2.0 ports on my desktop?

Yes, the USB-A connector is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports and will transfer data at up to 480 Mbps on those ports.

How can I verify the cable is delivering the 3 A fast-charging current?

Check the charging indicator on your device; it should show fast-charging mode when connected to a charger that supports 5 V / 3 A output.

Does the 15 ft package include a wall charger or only the braided cable?

Only the 15 ft nylon-braided USB-A to USB-C cable is included; a compatible USB-A power adapter must be purchased separately.
