A two-gang recessed plate routes low-voltage cables behind a flat-panel TV or audio-video device and mounts on a low-voltage bracket
DataComm Electronics’ 2-Gang Recessed Low Voltage Cable Plate provides a clean pass-through for low-voltage cables behind a flat-panel TV, amplifier or other audio and video devices. It mounts onto a low-voltage mounting bracket with the opening facing up or down. The black finish blends with typical AV equipment.
This plate accepts two gangs of low-voltage connections, giving enough space for multiple cable runs in a single recessed opening. Builders who need more than two gangs or a single-gang solution will need a different plate.
The recessed design keeps cables flush with the wall surface, handling typical home-theatre wiring behind a TV or rack-mounted gear. It does not carry power circuits or high-voltage conductors.

It mounts onto a low-voltage mounting bracket, so the bracket must be present in the wall cavity before the plate can be fitted.
The plate installs onto a low-voltage mounting bracket with the opening facing either up or down, requiring the bracket to be secured in the wall first.
