Two-gang cable management plate

The DataComm Electronics 45-0015-WH provides a two-gang wall plate with a patented flexible opening designed to route low-voltage cables behind wall-mounted displays, amplifiers or other AV equipment while keeping the wall aperture covered.

Verify low-voltage-only installation

Confirm that every cable passing through the plate carries low-voltage signals only, as the product is not rated for mains power conductors. Ensure the existing wall cavity has enough depth to accommodate the plate and the bend radius of the cables you intend to run.

Patented flexible opening for daily access

The flexible opening stretches to accept cable bundles during initial installation and later additions, then retracts to maintain a neat finished appearance around the cables. The two-gang white format matches standard electrical boxes and blends with typical wall surfaces in residential or commercial AV setups.

Questions about this item

Does the 2-gang cable plate include mounting screws or a back box, or do I need to buy those separately?

The plate ships as the cover only; standard electrical-box screws and a 2-gang back box are not included and must be purchased separately.

The model number shows 45-0015-WH — does the 15 indicate a different opening size or cable capacity than other versions?

The 15 is simply part of the manufacturer’s part-code sequence; this version has the same flexible brush opening as other 2-gang plates in the range.

How many low-voltage cables can realistically pass through the flexible brush opening once the plate is mounted?

The brush aperture accommodates typical home-theatre bundles — HDMI, speaker wire, Ethernet and IR cables — without binding or damaging jackets.
