Low-voltage cable plate for behind-TV installs

DataComm Electronics' 1-gang recessed cable plate mounts on a low-voltage bracket to route cables behind a flat-panel TV, amplifier or other A/V device. The white finish blends with common wall colours. Supplied as a 2 pack. The opening can face up or down to suit the cable path.

Mounts on a low-voltage bracket only

Installation requires a compatible low-voltage mounting bracket, which is not included. The plate covers the bracket opening and lets cables pass through without a large cut-out in the drywall. It frees the wall surface from exposed cable clutter and keeps connections tidy behind the equipment.

Handles one cable run per plate

Each 1-gang plate accommodates a single low-voltage cable run such as HDMI, speaker wire or IR. Two plates give two separate openings. The design does not suit high-voltage power cords or large connector bundles that need a wider gang box.
