Datalogic 9800i RS PC Scale Cable

The Datalogic 90A052138 is a 15ft RS data and communications cable designed for the 9800i scanner. It connects the scanner to a PC scale for integrated weighing and scanning operations at the point of sale. This new accessory supports retail environments requiring a direct link between the imager and the scale. It replaces a damaged or missing original cable for the 9800i series.

Check your 9800i scanner port type

Verify that your 9800i scanner uses an RS interface for the PC scale connection before ordering. Ensure the host system has the correct corresponding port to accept the cable termination. Confirm the 15ft length suits the distance between the scanner and the scale in your checkout lane. This cable is not for USB-only or keyboard-wedge configurations.
