Ultra-compact 2D imager for high-speed DPM

The Matrix 300N is an ultra-compact image-based barcode reader built for high-speed and Direct Part Marking applications. A 1.3 megapixel sensor captures images at 60 frames per second for rapid decoding. Electronic focus control via a liquid lens module removes moving parts from the optical system. Integrated illumination covers the entire front surface with bright and dark field patterns.

Sustained high-speed reading without mechanical wear

The liquid lens adjusts focus electronically so the reader maintains accuracy during continuous operation on fast production lines. No moving focus mechanisms means there is nothing to wear out or misalign over time. Uniform illumination across bright field and dark field modes keeps difficult surfaces readable at speed. The compact form factor and rotating connector allow installation where space is restricted.

USB interface limits integration to host-powered

The scanner connects through a single USB cable included in the box, drawing power and transmitting data over the same link. M12 4-pole connectors are also present for OEM system integration, but the USB path ties deployment to host port availability and cable length limits. No wireless, Ethernet or serial interfaces are provided, so the reader must remain within USB reach of the controlling device. Power budget and bus bandwidth of the host port define the practical operating envelope.
