Charges a PowerScan PM9500 and a spare battery via RS-232, USB, keyboard wedge or Ethernet
The BC9180-BT is a base and dual charger designed for the PowerScan PM9500 scanner. It charges the scanner and a spare battery simultaneously while providing RS-232, USB, Keyboard Wedge and Ethernet host interfaces. External power of 10 to 30 VDC is required and must be ordered separately. The unit weighs 0.86 lb and measures 9.25" x 4.25" x 3.14".
This accessory suits operations that keep a PM9500 at a dedicated station and need continuous uptime through hot-swap battery charging. It is not for users who only charge via a host USB port, nor for mobile workflows that require a portable single-slot cradle. Ethernet connectivity requires a separate cable purchase.
The charger draws up to 10 W from an external 10 to 30 VDC supply that is not included in the box. Host power is limited to 500 mA at 5 VDC for data communication only. Verify that your installation can provide the required external voltage before ordering.
