Connects Datalogic Magellan 8300 and 8500 scanners with a six-foot DB-9 female cable
The Datalogic CAB-433 is a six-foot cable designed to connect compatible Magellan presentation scanners to a host system. It serves retail and logistics environments where a reliable wired link is required. The cable is supplied new and ready for immediate deployment.
The single specification that determines fit is the 1 x 9 pin D-Sub (DB-9) female connector. Only devices equipped with a matching DB-9 male port can use this cable; any other interface will not mate. Verify the host port before ordering.
This cable is validated for the Magellan 8300 and 8500 models, providing a direct six-foot reach between scanner and host. It does not support other scanner families or longer-distance installations without additional equipment. Buyers needing a different connector type or extended length must select an alternative part.

It allows the Magellan 8300 or 8500 to sit up to six feet from the host, giving flexibility for counter layouts without pulling the cable tight.
The 9-pin D-Sub caps the link to legacy serial signalling, so the scanner must connect to a matching COM port or a powered serial adapter on the POS system.
The straight DB-9 female hood sits flush against the scanner port and needs only enough rear clearance for the thumbscrews to seat securely.
