Datalogic HD3130-BK Heron barcode scanner

Elegant Linear Imager for Modern POS

The Datalogic Heron HD3130-BK is a presentation-style linear imager built for point-of-sale environments. Its black housing features in-mold decorated top covers, multi-colour LEDs and a polyphonic speaker that together reinforce brand identity at the checkout. Patented Green Spot technology provides visual good-read feedback and doubles as an aiming aid during hands-free use. Automatic switching between handheld and hands-free operation keeps the workflow fluid.

Suited for Brand-Focused Checkout Lanes

Retailers who want a scanner that doubles as a branded design element will appreciate the customisable covers, lights and sounds. Operations that rely on stacked codes such as GS1 DataBar Expanded Stacked or postal symbologies like China Post are also covered. Businesses needing 2D area-imaging, wireless freedom or a bundled interface cable should evaluate other form factors.

1D Linear Imaging at 270 Reads Per Second

The scan engine reads all standard 1D codes and GS1 DataBar linear variants at up to 270 reads/sec with a 4 mil resolution. Depth of field reaches 5.0 to 15.0 cm for 5 mil symbols and 2.0 to 35.0 cm for 10 mil symbols. The unit draws under 500 mA at 5 VDC and withstands repeated 1.5 m drops onto concrete.
