Compact presentation scanner

The Datalogic Magellan 1500i is a handheld omnidirectional presentation scanner built for point-of-sale counters. It reads 1D and 2D barcodes from printed labels and mobile screens. The compact footprint fits tight workspaces and the recessed illumination reduces operator glare. Optional Digimarc decoding extends the range of supported symbologies.

Batch cordless operation

The unit operates in batch mode so scanned data is stored locally when the host is unavailable. This suits environments where a permanent cable connection is not practical. Memory capacity determines how many codes can be held before offload. High-volume shifts may exceed the buffer and require more frequent uploads.

Versatile mounting and cable routing

Intelligent host cable routing lets the scanner sit flush against a wall or display for maximum space efficiency. Multiple mounting options support counter-top or vertical installation. Black and white enclosure choices match different store aesthetics. The cordless batch design removes a permanent tether but means the device must be docked or connected to transfer stored scans.
