Brake Shear and Roll Capacities Define Versatility

The brake bends aluminium up to 16 ga, mild steel to 19 ga and stainless to 24 ga at a maximum 90 degree angle. Finger widths of 1 in, 2 in, 3 in and 4 in allow box and pan forming. The shear cuts the same three materials at 15 ga aluminium, 19 ga mild steel and 24 ga stainless. The three rollers with a minimum 1.54 in diameter roll identical gauge ranges, letting operators form curves and cylinders on the same workpiece.

Bench Mounting and Gauge Limits Are the Main

The unit bolts to a sturdy bench; alignment of the brake fingers, shear blade and roller gaps must be checked before first use. Overloading beyond the stated gauge capacities for any material will damage the tooling and void the intended function. Operators must select the correct finger width and roller setting for each job, as the machine does not adjust automatically between brake, shear and roll operations.
