Adjustable current sensing relay monitors overcurrent and undercurrent from 5 to 50 A with SPDT contacts rated 10 A at 240 V AC
The Dayton 15V828 is an adjustable current sensing relay rated for 10 A at 240 V AC. It monitors overcurrent and undercurrent conditions with a trip point range of 5 to 50 A set by a switch. The unit mounts on a surface and connects through four quick connect tabs. A transparent housing provides a clear view of the internal LED status indicator.
The solid core design supports continuous operation at the rated 10 A without thermal derating. The adjustable trip point remains stable during extended monitoring cycles and the SPDT contact form handles both AC and DC loads reliably. An LED indicator gives immediate visual confirmation of relay state throughout the duty cycle.
This relay replaces fixed trip point models when the application demands a configurable threshold between 5 and 50 A. It is not suited for installations requiring DIN rail mounting or a sensing hole diameter larger than .36 in. Builders needing multi pole contact arrangements or a different coil voltage must select an alternative device.

The relay draws 10 A at 240 V AC and 8 A at 28 V DC; its solid core and 0.8 in body depth dissipate heat without a fan, so surface temperature stays low during all-day operation.
You need quick-connect tabs that match the 4 pins, a surface with 3.5 in vertical clearance, and a conductor that fits the 0.36 in sensing hole for the adjustable 5 to 50 A trip point.
Yes, the relay is rated 8 A at 28 V DC on the same SPDT contacts used for 10 A at 240 V AC, so it can directly replace older relays with equal or lower DC ratings.
