Dayton 16D549 Wall Collar Purpose

This Dayton 16D549 wall collar fits a ten inch blade diameter fan and provides a finished transition between the fan housing and the wall opening. It suits installers who need a galvanised steel sleeve for permanent ventilation projects.

Build Integration Requirements

The collar requires a cut-out height of fifteen and five eighths inches and the same cut-out width for proper fit. Four mounting angles and four side panels are included so the unit can be secured without sourcing separate brackets.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Twenty gauge galvanised steel resists corrosion during continuous airflow and seasonal temperature changes. The closed base design maintains structural rigidity when the fan operates for long periods in commercial or industrial settings.
