Stainless steel thimbles protect 1/4 in wire rope loops in a pack of 25
This Dayton wire rope thimble protects 1/4 inch rope eyes from wear and deformation. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in marine and outdoor environments. Each pack contains 25 pieces for rigging multiple assemblies. It is designed for lifting applications where a durable loop termination is required.
The open end style allows the thimble to slide onto the rope before the eye is formed and secured. Inside loop dimensions of 1 7/16 inches by 23/32 inches set the maximum hardware size that can pass through. A wall thickness of 1/32 inch and wall height of 1/8 inch define the bearing surface against the rope strands.
This pack replaces damaged thimbles or upgrades from lighter gauge hardware when the application demands stainless steel durability. The jump is worth it when the existing loop shows elongation, cracking or corrosion that compromises the lifting connection. It is not suited for ropes larger than 1/4 inch or for non-lifting decorative uses where a closed thimble is preferred.

The specifications list standards as not applicable, so the thimble is not certified to a specific lifting standard.
